I have to say that the past few days have been surreal. I've never had a piece receive so much attention in such a short amount of time. I thought that some people might like to know some of the stats from the past two days.

Number of page views my profile has received over a 24 hour period: 620

I think I was just in too much of a hurry before too. I wasn't feeling well and just wanted to get it done lol. I think for my bf and I's anniversary I'm going to make one for him. I actually told him that I loved him with a Ninja Turtle cake (I ordered it lol). Telling someone that I love them is a really hard thing for me, so I gave him the cake to say it. He loved it. He actually kept all of the TMNT magnets that came on the cake.

I say do what you did, but with the bowl shape like I mentioned earlier. It should come out great. Or, you could make the entire thing out of cup cakes. Just group them in the shape of a turtle, and decorate the cup cakes like a turtle shell.

I would just bake the cake in a stainless steel bowl or something so you start out with a dome shape. Once you have the shape of the shell, you're three quarters of the way there. :D
